What's in this package
Beginner Driving Lessons
10 hours of lessons
Ten hours of beginner driving lessons, paid for once and used as you go. It's the same lessons, the same car and the same instructor as booking individually — the difference is that it's all arranged upfront, so you're not deciding whether to book again after every session.
That matters more than it sounds. The learners who progress fastest are the ones driving regularly, and a pack booked in advance makes regular much easier to stick to.
How the hours work
You get 10 Hours of lesson time to use across beginner lessons in whatever lengths suit you. Ten 60-minute lessons, or six 90-minute ones with a 60 on the end, or five 120-minute lessons — the hours come out of the same balance either way.
Most learners start with 60-minute lessons and move to 90 once the basics are steady. You don't have to decide the pattern upfront.
What the lessons cover
Vehicle controls, mirrors and seating position
Steering, braking and smooth acceleration
Lane positioning and road awareness
Turns, intersections and roundabouts
NSW road rules, signs and speed zones
Parking, reversing and manoeuvres
Moving from quiet streets into real traffic
Where you finish depends on where you start. Ten hours takes a complete beginner a long way, though most learners have more lessons after it alongside their own supervised practice.
Logbook hours
Every lesson is signed off at the end. If you're under 25, Transport for NSW lets you record three hours for every one hour of structured lesson with a licensed instructor, capped at 10 lessons — 30 recorded hours in total.
Ten 60-minute lessons uses that allowance exactly, which is worth knowing when you decide how to split the hours. Longer lessons build skill faster but reach the cap sooner in lesson count. The bonus applies to daytime lessons only; evening lessons are recorded as actual time and count towards your 20 required night hours.
Using it up
The pack is valid for 3 months from purchase. Ten hours across three months is roughly one lesson a week, which is a sensible rhythm for a beginner anyway — long enough between lessons to practise, short enough that nothing goes stale.
The goal is not just clearing the test. The goal is to drive around safely.
Before you buy
You need a current NSW learner licence. Lessons are in an automatic car. The pack is for one person and can't be split between family members. Individual lessons within the pack can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before.
